Jing Shang

Hi, my name is Jing. I’m a third-year PhD student @Stanford Statistics. My research focuses on developing statistical learning methods that enable reliable decision-making from complex, high-dimensional data. I am particularly interested in combining statistical theory, machine learning, and optimization to build models that are both theoretically grounded and effective in real-world applications across economics, healthcare, and engineering.

Prior to Stanford, I received Bachelor of Economics from Fudan Univerisity (‘23).
